Susan B. Scott
As Coordinator of the ePortfolio Initiative, Scott’s responsibilities include helping to manage an array of collaborative efforts. She works with faculty and administrative leaders to ensure that objectives move forward, plans faculty development activities related to ePortfolios, coordinates special projects, maintains ePortfolio information dissemination, and staffs ePortfolio committees. As Assistant Director, Office of Institutional Effectiveness, she prepares the annual campus assessment report and special reports related to accountability and accreditation, and she supports the work of PRAC in enhancing understanding of learning assessment.
Prior to joining IUPUI, Scott was with the Indiana Higher Education Telecommunication System (IHETS), with oversight of e-learning services, the Indiana College Network, professional development, communications, grants, and new service development. She has served in various national roles with AAEEBL, WCET, the University Professional and Continuing Education Association, and Internet2 and has presented frequently on topics related to ePortfolios, e-learning, academic technologies, and leadership of change in higher education. She previously taught writing at Vincennes University and IUPUI. She earned a B.A. from Indiana University Bloomington and an M.A. from Indiana State University, both degrees in English.
